The app generates a random installation identifier (with no connection to your identity) and may record anonymous, aggregated usage events: app opens, daily passage views and reads, reminder permission, language changes and share actions. This data is used solely to understand whether the product is useful (for example, how many people return the next day).
The daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. We send no notifications from servers and need no device token.
Anonymous analytics may be processed by a product-analytics provider hosted in the European Union. Bible text is fetched from licensed Scripture providers (Biblica via the YouVersion Platform); those requests carry no personal data. Crash reports, if enabled, are sent without personal information.
Local settings (language, appearance, reminder time, reading rotation) live only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app. Anonymous events are kept only as long as needed for product analysis.
Since we store no data that identifies you, anonymous events cannot be linked back to you. For any privacy question, write to hola@getverbum.app. If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
